The Advanced Coaching course offers comprehensive insights into the essential elements required for coaches to deliver effective, sustainable, and results-based programs. This course is designed to refine and enhance your theoretical coaching knowledge while emphasizing practical application and advanced program design.

Throughout the course, participants will explore various topics such as human anatomy, biomechanics, human physiology, and energetics and understand how these elements intertwine with training theory and practice. Content Overview

Upon completion of the course, delegates will be equipped with the following knowledge and skills:

Understanding of Muscle Physiology and Energetics

Students will develop a solid grasp of muscle physiology and energetics and learn how to apply this knowledge effectively in their coaching practice.

Knowledge of Joint Anatomy and Basic Biomechanics

Coaches will acquire an understanding of joint anatomy and fundamental principles of biomechanics, enabling them to assess and analyze client movement patterns accurately.

Anatomical Assessment of Client Movement Patterns

Students will learn how to assess client movement patterns, including an in-depth understanding of muscle nomenclature and architecture. This knowledge will enhance their ability to identify areas for improvement and tailor training programs accordingly.

Understanding the Science Behind Strength and Hypertrophy Training

 Coaches will delve into the underlying mechanisms and scientific principles behind strength and hypertrophy training. This knowledge will enable them to design more effective and targeted training programs.

Assigning Training Variables for Training Goals

Students will develop the skills to assign appropriate training variables based on specific training goals. They will learn how to tailor programs to meet individual needs and maximise progress.

Identifying Limiting Factors and Addressing Progress Barriers

Coaches will gain the ability to identify limiting factors that hinder client progress. They will learn effective strategies to address these barriers and facilitate continuous improvement.

Conducting Client and Training Needs Analysis

Students will learn how to conduct a concise and comprehensive analysis of clients and their training needs. This skill will assist coaches in creating personalised and effective training programs.

Developing Supervised and Remote Training Programs

Coaches will acquire the knowledge and skills to design supervised and remote training programs for key demographics. They will learn how to adapt coaching techniques for different contexts and effectively guide clients both in-person and remotely.
