This course is designed to refine and enhance your theoretical coaching knowledge while emphasizing practical application and advanced program design.
Throughout the course, participants will explore various topics such as human anatomy, biomechanics, human physiology, and energetics and understand how these elements intertwine with training theory and practice. By delving into the intricacies of these subjects, coaches will gain a deeper understanding of how to optimise their coaching approaches.
Upon completion of the course, delegates will be equipped with the following knowledge and skills:
Understanding of Muscle Physiology and Energetics
Students will develop a solid grasp of muscle physiology and energetics and learn how to apply this knowledge effectively in their coaching practice.
Knowledge of Joint Anatomy and Basic Biomechanics
Coaches will acquire an understanding of joint anatomy and fundamental principles of biomechanics, enabling them to assess and analyze client movement patterns accurately.
Anatomical Assessment of Client Movement Patterns
Students will learn how to assess client movement patterns, including an in-depth understanding of muscle nomenclature and architecture. This knowledge will enhance their ability to identify areas for improvement and tailor training programs accordingly.
Understanding the Science Behind Strength and Hypertrophy Training
Coaches will delve into the underlying mechanisms and scientific principles behind strength and hypertrophy training. This knowledge will enable them to design more effective and targeted training programs.
Assigning Training Variables for Training Goals
Students will develop the skills to assign appropriate training variables based on specific training goals. They will learn how to tailor programs to meet individual needs and maximise progress.
Identifying Limiting Factors and Addressing Progress Barriers
